Smooth Sailing

Smooth Sailing, an autism-focused professional development program, is now enrolling.

 

ELIGIBILITY: This PD program is open to K through 2nd grade teachers in general education or integrated classrooms.  

​

COMPENSATION: The program is free and awards CEs in California and 12 PDPs in Massachusetts. As this is a research study, teachers also complete surveys and allow in-class observation visits, receiving $300 for their efforts.

Project PEACES

This study is about the experiences of autistic college students and how they view college success. Your participation could help researchers clarify what really matters for autistic students, understand these students’ college experiences, highlight their achievements, and identify ways postsecondary institutions can support their success.

 

ELIGIBILITY: Students are likely eligible to participate if they are at least 18 years old, enrolled in an undergraduate program at a U.S. college or university, and identify as autistic (with either a formal or self-diagnosis). Participation in the study is entirely voluntary. To assess your eligibility and begin the survey, please use this link. COMPENSATION: Eligible participants who complete the online survey (roughly 30 minutes) will receive a $25 gift card following study completion. Participants will also be asked to indicate their interest in participating in an interview or photo elicitation activity later this year. If selected by researchers, students who complete those activities would become eligible for an additional $25 gift card.
